"Under
the Sea"
Each half
term the children decide what they would like the
home corner to be.
Barnaby
Bear lives in Ash Class during the week and at the
weekend he goes home with one of the children! He
has had some exciting times, going to swimming lessons,
to parties, to the beach and even on holiday to
the Isle of Wight! The children help Barnaby keep
a diary of his adventures and they share this when
they get back to class on Monday.
Ash
Class work with the older children to cook food
on an open fire during one of our outdoor learning
lessons.
The children
love playing in our outside area. They love to use
the bricks to build dens, tanks, aeroplanes and
what ever else they choose. The sand and water trays
are also very popular.
The Reception children
go on weekly welly walks with our pre-school, looking
for signs of nature and mini beasts. The whole school
go for a welly walk every term.
The children
have lots of fun during literacy and numeracy lessons,
learning through play.
